Inscribed in ink by Panter on the copyright page, featuring a drawing of a broken tractor: "For -- -- from Gary Panter" Presented in an oversize format, 16.25" x 6.5", thought to be absurd until one realizes it matches a comix format. Dal Tokyo, which first ran in The LA Reader in the early '80s, envisions a future Mars that is inhabited by Texan and Japanese settlers. The "Dal" is short for Dallas.
