The author's first book, self-published at age 23 shortly after he moved from New York to Ashland, Oregon, to work toward a master s degree. Zaslow went on to write and edit other poetry books, record two albums of children's music, open a jazz club, win an American Book Award, and, in his late 40s, become a rabbi. He has worked as a rabbi ever since, still based in Ashland. An uncommon title. 44 pages, each printed on only one side (see photos).
