Original purple-grey morocco-grained cloth, blocked in blind, central image to front board blocked in gilt, spine decorated & lettered in gilt; small repair to head of spine. A nice copy. See Sadleir 3094 for the part issue, 'never having been fortunate enough to find a copy of the book issue'. This is clearly an early re-issue of the first edition sheets without date on title. Wolff 6403, the first edition in cloth, quotes D.N.B. suggesting that this novel comes second only to Tom Brown's Schooldays as 'a school novel which entertains both boys and adults'.

Hardcover. Condición: gut. 2012. "Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II In honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - 60 years on the throne, this title celebrates the extraordinary private and public life of Her Majesty. It tells her royal story through hundreds of photographs taken from multiple archives in the United Kingdom (including the Royal Collection), Continental Europe, and the United States. God save her indeed! Autor: Der Herausgeber: Reuel Golden ist Fotobuch-Autor bei TASCHEN, zu seinen Werken zählt New York: Portrait of a City.
