[Rock Music / Sixties Culture] LIMITED EDITION, SIGNED BY RINGO. No.1398 of 2500 copies. Quarto (30 x 19cm). An exquisite box set of reproduction postcards sent to Ringo from John Lennon, Paul McCartney & George Harrison, with text and extras. Photo album format in a fine Nubuk hide binding, housed in a metal GPO style post box (same colour as James the Red Engine!), with 'R*S' initials (in place of Royal Mail's 'E II R'). A Superb production, additionally supplied with a page of stamps and three loose cards in a black envelope. Contents and inserts are as new. The Nubuk (soft calf) is rubbed at joints as often encountered. Box is fine. The postcards, complete with occasional doodle depict both the spontaneous wit and art of the Beatles. The affectionate jottings give an insight to the unique bond that existed between the members of the fab four. There is a revealing and humorous accompanying text from Ringo which explains the cards and documents the corresponding moments of his life. Each unique copy has a specially selected stamp affixed to the title page (no two stamps the same), and the limitation page takes the form of a post mark.

Condición: As New. First Edition. Ringo Starr, Postcards From The Boys Deluxe Signed box set from Genesis Publications. A limited edition of 2500 signed by Ringo Starr. This charming large book set features the reproduction of 53 postcards sent by George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney to Ringo. Each is supplemented with a revealing and humorous text from Ringo explaining the meaning behind the cards and documenting the corresponding moments of his life. A "must-have' item for anyone interested in the story of The Beatles' phenomenon. There is more handwork involved in the craft bookbinding of Postcards From The Boys than with any previous Genesis title. The two sides of each facsimile postcard are carefully pasted into every book to the extent that there are 108 individual pieces of paper pasted in. The binding is in full leather and has been personally SIGNED by Ringo Starr, making it the ultimate original collectors' item. An additional page of stamps and three postcards housed in a black envelope have been specially made for the book and are included. Only opened to check contents. Never been on display. This is number 2453 (one of the very final to be issued - it is unlikely you will find a higher number anywhere!) The white outer box has a couple of light outer marks over the years, but the contents are in perfect condition. SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE EXTRA DUE TO THE CUBIC SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THIS SET. Signed.
