Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. Twelve volume set of plays published in a limited signed edition of which this is set # 615 of 770 sets. Volume 1 is signed. All volumes with original glassine jackets and with original slipcases. All books are near fine with most never opened. Volumes 10 and 12 the spine of the glassine is missing and is partially missing on volume 11, otherwise present, all others complete. All slipcases are darkened at the top. All but a few have the paper rubbed away at front edges of cases. Half of the cases have paper separation at corners but not creating a split. Eight of the cases have small splits. Despite the small flaws a set with the wrappers and cases is not common. Additional photos available. II has one bumped corner and a crack in the gutter after the FFEP but binding remains tight).

Illustrated with photogravure frontispieces (portraits and scenes from the plays) . Decorative title pages printed in blue and black. Designed by Elmer Adler and printed on specially watermarked paper. Eugene O'Neill was one of the greatest American playrights and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1936. A fine set.
