Softcover. Condición: Good. First Edition. A graphic novel classic with a new introduction by Art SpiegelmanQuinn writes mysteries. The Washington Post has described him as a "post-existentialist private eye." An unknown voice on the telephone is now begging for his help, drawing him into a world and a mystery far stranger than any he ever created in print.Adapted by Paul Karasik and David Mazzucchelli, with graphics by David Mazzucchelli, Paul Auster's groundbreaking, Edgar Award-nominated masterwork has been astonishingly transformed into a new visual language."[This graphic novel] is, surprisingly, not just a worthy supplement to the novel, but a work of art that fully justifies its existence on its own terms."--The Guardian.

Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A 3 Vols Set : The New York Trilogy : 'City Of Glass', 'Ghosts' & 'The Locked Room'. All three books are the First USA printings published by Sun and Moon Press, Los Angeles in 1985 and 1986. All have the full number line and state 'First Edition'. The BOOKS are all in near Fine condition. Light pushing at the spine ends to Vol.1. All are free from inscriptions. The WRAPPERS are complete and are in near Fine condition The wrapper of 'City of Glass' is in the second state; the spine is slightly toned and there is a barely visible outline where the small sticker bearing the publisher's imprint was plainly tipped to the spine. This sticker is now loosely inserted. There is no difference between the first and second state wrappers apart from when the publishers realised they had omitted the publishers imprint on the printed wrapper, they produced some small paper imprints to be tipped on to the spine of the wrapper. Most of these have inevitably fallen off over the passage of time but this one is loosely inserted. With this set is also included the third state wrapper where the publisher's imprint has been incorporated into the printed wrapper and additional logo designs have been added to the flaps. The wrappers are protected in removable Brodart archival covers. All three volumes have been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page. Paul Auster's classic meta-fictional detective story with his signature theme of the search for identity and his brand of American existentialism. A sharp set of the author's classic work. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact. Signed by Author(s).
