Paperback. Condición: Very Good. None Ilustrador. First edition. Thirty nine paperbacks by one of the best-selling science fiction novelists of the mid twentieth century, Robert Heinlein. Includes seven first paperback editions A collection of thirty nine paperbacks by one of the best-selling science fiction novelists of the mid twentieth century, Robert Heinlein. Includes the first paperback editions of The Man Who Sold the Moon, An Assignment in Eternity, Methuselah's Children, Space Cadet, I will Fear No Evil, Space Family Stone, and The Cat Who Walks Through Walls. Alongside his careers as an aeronautical engineer and naval officer, Heinlein was one of the most popular science fiction novelists between the 1940s and 1960s, often grouped with Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke as the 'Big Three' of English language science fiction authors. A pioneer of hard science fiction, which stresses scientific accuracy, Heinlein speculates how scientific progress and developments in engineering might shape the future of politics, race, religion, and sex. Many of the novels in this set explore provocative social and political ideas, and muse philosophically on the importance of individual liberty, the obligation individuals owe to their societies, the influence of organised religion on culture and government, and the nature of sexual relationships. The collection includes his notable works, Stranger in a Strange Land, Starship Troopers, and The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. There are two different editions of An Assignment in Eternity and The Menace from Earth in the collection. All volumes listed below: The Man Who Sold the Moon An Assignment in Eternity Starship Troopers Revolt in 2100 The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag Starman Jones Beyond This Horizon Farmer in the Sky Farnham's Freehold Double Star Tunnel in the Sky Stranger in a Strange Land Starman Jones Orphans of the Sky The Podkayne of Mars The Moon is a Harsh Mistress Waldo and Magic Inc The Puppet Masters The Door into Summer The Worlds of Robert Heinlein Methuselah's Children The Star Beast; Red Planet I Will Fear No Evil Space Cadet Have Space Suit- Will Travel Space Family Stone Between Planets An Assignment in Eternity The Day After Tomorrow The Best of Robert Heinlein 1939-1942 The Menace from Earth Glory Road The Menace from Earth The Number of the Beast Friday; Job: A Comedy of Justice The Cat who Walks Through Walls Variable Star In the publisher's original paperback binding. The Puppet Master also has a small crease to the top corner of the front cover, and is a little worn at the joints. Volumes generally have some very light wear to the head and tail of the spines, slightly worse in Revolt in 2100, The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag, and Starman Jones. The spine is a little cracked to The Number of the Beast, and Stranger in a Strange Land, which is also has some light wear to the head and the tail of the spine. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Beyond This Horizon, I Will Fear No Evil, and one copy of Assignment in Eternity have a little wear towards the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
