Book is based on the CBS television program of the same name, which first aired on 2/19/75, which itself was adapted from Sendak's "Nutshell Library." A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1975 (with SBN, not later ISBN), this oblong softcover 8vo (10.75" x 9") has colorfully decorated wrappers, glued binding, 64 pages, illustrated by Sendak throughout the story, followed by King's musical scores, with lyrics by Sendak as well. Condition is VG- (minus): completely clean inside, with off-white pages that are unmarked. Externally, there is slight darkening to the white areas, particularly along spine edge, & dogearing to upper-outer corners of front cover & next several pages. Very slight, shallow creasing to lower-outer corner of same cover. Slight sticker pull to bottom inner corner of back cover.
