Book is in very good condition, showing slightly warped boards, faint rubbing to surfaces, a very light fade to covers, scuffing to corners and edges, modest bumping with tiny tears at ends of spine and slight bumping to edges of boards, tiny chip at top of board, faint spots of staining along bottom of front; "Douglas Smith Xmas - 1956" penned neatly in blue ink at top of front paste down end page; a couple tiny spots of discoloration to edges of a few pages, one page has a slight wrinkle near fore edge; otherwise in great shape with tight binding and unmarked pages throughout. Jacket is price clipped and has light rubbing to surfaces, a jagged 2 inch by 3 inch chip missing from top of back cover, a couple of closed tears to edges of covers, small chips to at ends of spine and tips of covers, faint staining across tops and bottoms of covers--back cover has several small splotches of staining as well, spine is modestly toned with scuffs to edges; in decent shape and now protected in mylar. A good copy! Oversized--additional postage may be requested for shipping overseas.

Large format, in illustrated boards. Illustrated endpapers. Rather uncommon in the true first edition published by Holt, especially in dust jacket. 36 pp. plus final drawing. Very near fine in illustrated cream boards in a fair only dust jacket with a large chip on front cover, overall edgewear, original price of $2.00 still present.
