CONDITION: Fair; cracked hinge well repaired but the binding design is not strong, spine cloth rip 3/4" on back, colours very bright on front and pages, light even soil to back, torn envelope has half of flap missing and edge open, 8 of the original 45 faces are present and clean, enough to do one picture at a time. Novelty cut out book Full colour drawings of people, flowers,and animals can be completed by inserting the little faces, otherwise kept in their envelope on the back of the front board. Hardcover. Condición: Fair. 1912. This is an interesting book for kiddos! This book was patented on July 23, 1912. The pages are heavy cardboard with different landscapes with animals or people. There are 6+ oval cutouts on the pages where the child could insert an animal or human face. There were originally 45 faces and this copy has 33. The binding but the covers and pages are bright. If you are a collector of toys/children's books this is something you need.

G/- Pictorial paper covered boards w/reinforced spine. Boards show edgewear and some soiling. Crack in hinge. Comes with an envelope attached to the inside board containing faces that can be moved/removed/attached to characters on each page. (Pages are actually thick cardboard) Probably about 1/3 of the face pieces are accounted for.
