Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fair. Large 8vo, cloth, d.j. 309 pp. + b/w illustrations on 40 hors-texte plates. There is a small ink stain on bottom edge of book-block and there is some minor wear to the lower cover edges and spine tips. The binding is tight and the pages are clean except for some widely scattered, light (easily erasable) pencil markings. Overall and despite the penciling, this is an unusually well preserved copy of the original cloth edition. The jacket, in contrast, is only fair, with soiling on the rear panel and numerous small (mostly closed) tears, though the pictorial front panel of the jacket is essentially intact.
