Publicado por Bickels Coins & Medals, Johannesburg, 1971
Librería: Snookerybooks, Philippolis, Sur Africa
Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Bound copies with covers of issues from Vol. 6 No. 4 (Feb/Mar 1971) through to the very last issue Vol. 11 No. 1 (Sept 1975). It is impossible to tell whether the series is complete or not as the magazine got into some dreadful muddles with its numbering and, towards the end, seems to have been produced rather erratically. The penultimate issue announces the death of Mr A Bickel and in the same issue one finds that Peter Brown has relinquished the editorship to Mr Richard Bickel. This is shortlived as the magazine announces in the next issue that this is its last. The magazines are in near-fine condition and are a goldmine of price and related information for the collector. The series is housed in tan cloth boards with gilt titling (in Afrikaans) to the upper board and spine. The boards are clean but the corners are gently rubbed. There is a light stain mark to the spine. The plain yellow thick card endpapers are clean but for the prev owner's signature to the ffep. This is a large (21 x 27cm) heavy (1.64kg) volume of publications which are now difficult to come by.
