Softcover. Condición: Very Good. Immediate dispatch from Somerset. Nice book in great condition. Pages in excellent condition. Patterns unused. No notes or highlighting. See images. Fantastic book. About the book >.>.> I have been making cloth dolls for longer than I care to remember. I first started making dolls as a hobby when I was a child, then later for my two daughters and now for my granddaughter, Amy. From the beginning, the dolls were all my own work and ideas, constructed using the tried and tested method of try and try again until it looked right. If ever I used magazine or commercial patterns I felt compelled to paint my own faces on the finished dolls to personalise them. The dolls I make vary from cute babies to demure little girls and cheeky young boys. I am totally self-taught, and I use a variety of materials in the construction of the dolls and their clothes. I often spend a lot of my time planning, researching and sourcing the different fabrics I use. My favourite part of doll making is forming the heads and painting the faces. It is at this point that you begin to see the doll's individual character and personality shining through. The dolls I create range in size from tiny 5cm (2in).
