From the 'Introduction' page: "It is indeed a great pleasure for the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Daytona Beach, Florida, to sponsor this publication. We hope it will play a part in introducing a better understanding of the important work of American painter Stokely Webster to a larger and growing audience. It highlights Webster's place as a significant transitional figure who still works within the rich and varied tapestry of contemporary American art. While his work reflects many of the major traditions in the historic development of painting, it is also breathtakingly new and vital, suggesting an ever-widening spiral of creative vision." PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED in full color photography of Webster's paintings with accompanying descriptive captions. 99 pages. LPBL2.
