Librería: Mullen Books, ABAA, Marietta, PA, Estados Unidos de America
Paperback. Pictorial wraps with black lettering; [20] pp; richly illustrated, primarily in color. "Rudolf Stingel (born 1956) is an artist based in New York City. Stingel was born in Merano, Italy. His work engages the audience in dialogue about their perception of art and uses Conceptual painting and installations to explore the process of creation. Using readily available materials such as styrofoam, carpet, and cast polyurethane, Stingel creates art based upon an underlying conceptual framework and challenges contemporary notions about painting. The surfaces of his two-dimensional works are characteristically carved out, imprinted or indented, visibly evidencing the artist's alteration of industrial matter. He lives in New York and Merano, Italy." -- website. VG (Wraps show shelfwear on edges and corners; pages are clean and bright; binding is solid).

Paperback. Condición: Very Good. Mangold, Robert Ilustrador. First Edition. 24 Page exhibition catalogue. "Mangold is an artist who appreciates the elegance and tact of using limited means. That minority which enjoys dispassion and a sly wit will continue to admire his work. The quirkiness in his 'minimalism' links him to many Post Modernists. His careful intelligence, however, can teach some of the faster brushes a lesson in subtlety and restraint." - Mark Stevens. Prior owner's large distinctive signature inside front cover. (she obviously missed the point! :-) Includes a pleasing selection of plates in colour in black and white, as well as a six-page insert re: artist laid in by prior owner. Light wear. Moderate rubbing and soiling to covers.

Paperback. Condición: VG+. Estado de la sobrecubierta: VG+. White glossy wrappers with thick dust-jacket of a 1963 "Air-Mail Accumulation." Contains twenty-three images of work and a 1964 photo portrait of the artist by John D. Schiff. Brief introduction by Alexandra Munroe but it is her four-page "abbreviated chronology" at rear that is more than worth the price of ticket, establishing Kusama's importance especially during the period of the focus of the Cooper exhibition, 1950-69. This copy is from the library of the late Peter Schjeldahl, art critic, and, having survived the 2019 fire at his NYC Saint Mark's Place flat, bears a faint scent of smoke. Page edges are a bit yellowed, whether from the fire or merely from age we cannot tell.

Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. This comprehensive catalogue was published on the occasion of New Yorkbased artist Kelley Walker's (born 1969) solo exhibition at the Paula Cooper Gallery in 2014. The catalogue begins with an essay by noted art historian Robert Hobbs, which examines the technical and conceptual scope of Walker's art. Hobbs finds parallels between Walker's work and that of Robert Rauschenberg and Symbolist poet Stephane Mallarme. The publication also includes 233 superb full-color reproductions which highlight the sharp digital imagery of Walker's multipanel works, the layered polychrome hues of his silkscreens and the complex spatial play at work in his sculpture. Ten foldout spreads spanning 40 pages give the reader a sense of the expansive dimensions of his multipanel silkscreen pieces, the first of which is comprised of 196 parts. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
