Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fair. First Thus. 247 pp., citations and comments. This being the first English edition of this book A very good, tight, unmarked copy in a fair, unclipped dust jacket with closed tears and chipping a photographed. This book began as the dictated recollections of Mrs. Virgil Earp (Alvira Earp) to the author in the 1930's. It was kept from the public until after both Mrs. Virgil Earp and the third Mrs. Wyatt Earp (Josephine) had died. Then, in 1959, after meeting Earp historian John D. Gilchriese, the author unearthed new evidence by which he was able to supposedly verify and amplify her story. Certainly a controversial book to some but to others a very authentic and revealing view of the Earp brothers. Scarce in the UK edition. Adams 150 #144, Six-Guns #2322.
