Seven exceptionally scarce medical works by prominent twentieth century surgeon and bibliographer Geoffrey Keynes.The earliest work present here is Keynes's very scarce 1924 edition of Sir Thomas Browne's 'Notes for a Lecture on the Skin'. Keynes offers an introduction to a brief collection of notes made by Browne in the late seventeenth century on the subject of human skin.The second work present is the British Medical Journal's very scarce 1949 printing of Keynes's fifteen page essay 'The Results of Thymectomy in Myasthenia Gravis', based upon a lecture he gave in the July of that year.
