His family originated from Wales, and he was the nephew of actor Sir Lewis Casson.## ## The book is a collection of Hugh Casson's impressions of London. It is beautifully written and illustrated. Readers have praised the author's combination of watercolour and ink drawing. Some people say they'd like the colours to be a bit stronger, and perhaps this has to do with the book - and his original watercolours have faded a bit over time. But his style is one of my favourites. Very inspiring. ## ## Conclusion: "Hugh Casson's London" provides a unique perspective on London, capturing the city's essence through the eyes of an architect.
