Hard Cover. Condición: Poor. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Poor. 1st.Edition. Red/gilt cloth hardback - blemished/crinkled spine/scuffed edges - in protected DJ which is blemished/sellotaped in part/chipped/cloudy. 816pp. with, theoretically, "61 plans in black and white" & 6 plans and maps in colour" (note that the colour map of Luxor and Karnak on p.465 is missing). Slightly fraying red fabric bookmark attached. Orange to page top edges. Colour map to inside cover/fep, albeit heavily stamped & blemished. Red/white list of "Nagel's Encyclopedia Guides" to inside rear ep/inside rear cover, also heavily blemished, largely the result of sellotape removal. Significant evidence of page tears/hinge strains/blemishes/"dog-ears"/browning. Most of the fold-out maps/plans are in poor condition, some being crudely re-inserted with now yellowing sellotape; also, there is evidence of many tears to these "fold-outs". This is a withdrawn library book, stamped and marked to that effect. Sound textual content. A useful resource in need much care & attention. Technically, a Poor copy.
