Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. Typical ex-library marks. Very clean text with good and tight binding. Great copy of a hard to find book. Great Restraint offers a realistic approach to the Federal defiict problem. In chapter eight, author Paul Lunde warns that "We cannot balance the Federal budget by cutting existing spending programs." Also: "We cannot achieve a balanced Federal Budget without a Constitutional Amendment. Everything else has been tried: nothing else will work." According to one reviewer, Lunde "argues coherently and accessibility, although many think his call for popular action is an exercise in futility." Perhaps, but at the very least, Lunde displays a positive, can-do attitude. "The Framers gave us an excellent Constitution. They also gave us the tools to amend it. They intended for us to use those tools, not to throw up our hands. We the People -- you and I -- have a job to do. Let's get going on it!".
