Black 1/4 cloth, green cloth covered boards, spine panel lettered in gilt. xii,164 pp., illus. w/ numerous tinted and/or colored plates, [4] double-page maps at rear. Lightly rubbed corners and spine extremities, text block edges a bit toned by age. Firm binding. Endsheets toned along both hinges. Neat gift inscription dated 1946 on front flyleaf, otherwise unmarked. Accompanied by color pastedown illus. and descriptive text clipped from front panel of dust jacket, which is otherwise lacking. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.

Size quarto, 164 plus 3 double page maps of Lincolnshire and 1 of Cambridgeshire. Publisher's original green cloth covered boards with black cloth spine section, large gilt titles to front cover and gilt titles to the spine. Condition very good, corners and spine ends a little rubbed, outer edges of front cover sunned, previous owner's name to front end-paper, spots to first and last few pages, a few faint spots mainly to margins of the pages and plates. With 48 drawings by Henry Rushbury, R.A., mainly reproductions of sketches, with a few full coloured plates. Size: 4to - over 9" - 12" tall. Book.
