Covers show signs of shelf wear with some fading to spine and bottom edges. Title is imprinted on front cover. Small white discolorations on the back cover with a small indent on the upper edge (1/2 inch). Inscribed by the editor, Walter Phelps Hall on the front free end paper. Previous owner's name in pencil at the top of the front free end paper, dated 1930. There is a fair bit of underlining and notations throughout, done in pencil.
