Soft cover. Condición: As New. 1st Edition. A very close to new copy which feels unread. This is a story about several generations of the Tucker family with the common bond of hunting and the outdoors. The Tuckers and the Jamiesons were hunting families, both had been used to living off the land. Phil Tucker had a passion for hunting, his work as a woodsman and later deer culler took him to different parts of the country. One location was Galatea where he made the acquaintance of the Jamieson family. Mick Jamieson, was not only a keen hunter but had a rather attractive daughter who was also interested in hunting. Mick became a hunting partner and Barbara eventually became Phil's wife. Phil and Barbara, not only hunted together they also introduced their children to outdoor sports, with son Aaron continuing the family tradition becoming a very successful hunter himself. Now his daughter Mikayla is following in his footsteps to become a hunter. This is an engaging book with hunting trips throughout New Zealand and even an excursion to Australia; as the Tucker family enjoy New Zealand's outdoors.

Octavo softcover (VG+); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book may reduce your overall postage costs.

Hardcover. Condición: Good. Nicely rebound with 1/2 leather in 1800's, preserving the original leather spine title, historical society name stamp but NOT library. Usual foxing but otherwise tight and pristine ONLY KNOWN COPY of this American edition of the London 1821 original. The publisher put out the Albany Journal for many years. I can find NO RECORD of this in any library or historical society, none for sale except the usual London ed. A true imprint/edition rarity and on a still volatile subject.
