No binding. Condición: As New. Leonid Sokov - vydayushchijsya russkij i amerikanskij skulptor, zhivopisets, grafik, sozdatel obektov i installyatsij. Prinadlezhit k pokoleniyu, kotoroe na rubezhe 1960-70kh godov proizvelo revolyutsiyu v izobrazitelnom iskusstve Sovetskogo Soyuza. Sobstvennyj put v sovetskom iskusstve internatsionalnogo stilya Sokov prokladyvaet izgotovleniem skulptur efemernykh yavlenij, takikh, kak ten ot stula, svet iz okna, ten oblaka. On menyaet tsennostnuyu ierarkhiyu vzaimootnoshenij vechnogo i efemernogo, ustojchivogo i uskolzayushchego, ochevidnogo i edva ulovimogo. Odnako priznanie na mezhdunarodnoj khudozhestvennoj arene Sokov poluchil prezhde vsego v kachestve odnogo iz sozdatelej originalnogo sovetsko-rossijskogo varianta postmodernistskogo iskusstva, nazvannogo sots-art. Sots-art natselen na igrovoe peredraznivanie, smeshivanie i dekonstruktsiyu ofitsialnykh i nizovykh slovesnykh i vizualnykh yazykov sovetskogo obshchestva i kommunisticheskoj vlasti. Sokov dal ubeditelnoe plasticheskoe vyrazhenie togo, chto Valeri schital osobennostyu KhKh stoletiya i nazyval mirnym sozhitelstvom protivopolozhnykh idej. Raboty Sokova nakhodyatsya v luchshikh muzejnykh i chastnykh kollektsiyakh mira. Kniga izdana v svyazi s personalnoj retrospektivnoj vystavkoj Leonida Sokova v Moskovskom muzee sovremennogo iskusstva maj-iyul 2012. Avtorami statej vystupili teoretik iskusstva Boris Grojs, iskusstvovedy Andrej Erofeev, Yuliya Tulovski iz Zimmerli Art Museum, Gleb Napreenko, a takzhe sam khudozhnik.
