First Edition. 4to, pp. 698. Covers little shabby, hing tender, a good copy. "This rare book by Inspector Schaack . is about one-third lies by his later admission [ contrary to Schaack's profession in the Preface: "from the first page to the last there is no material statement which is not bo my knowledge true." ]. The propaganda is so obvious that one can easily separate it from some very interesting historical data. This book was used by the Pinkerton Detective Agency to promote business throughout the country -Adelman, HAYMARKET REVISITED, p. 136.".
