Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First edition and printing. In good plus olive green cloth boards, gilt titles to front. The covers are tight and straight and a little marked; spine cloth a little sunned. The end papers are lightly tanned around the edges; yellow book plate to front paste down. Unmarked cut edges. The pages are pale green with 12 tipped in colour reproductions and 12 poems. Very good condition, clean and tight book block.

SIGNED FIRST EDITION subscribers' copy, number 94 of 200 copies, with associated signed first edition of 'Paintings and Poems'. Text by Fell; poems by Lady Sackville. pp. xx, 55, (44 plates in colour and monochrome); 35, (colour plates to each facing page). 'The Art' in quarter light green morocco leather, with light tan cloth boards. Slightly raised bands and gilt titles to spine. Top edge gilt. 'Paintings' in publisher's green cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board. Light green paper. 'Dedicated to beauty everywhere.' Dedication to Kathleen Hough taped to front paste down end paper, with further blue and black ink inscriptions. Loose monochrome photograph of 'The White Drawing Room Buckingham Palace', 1953, by Richter. 'The Art' spine faded and corners bumped. Title page heavily foxed; further occasional foxing. 'Paintings and Poems' with badly torn dust-jacket, with much loss. Good overall. Richter was a British artist famous for painting the interiors of many stately homes, including Buckingham Palace.
