Hardcover. Condición: Good. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Green cloth spine. Brown/gray paper over boards with black titles and illustration in many colors on the boards. Corners a little rounded and the unglazed paper over boards is faded, but the colors are bright and it's quite attractive overall. Binding tight. Brightly colored endpapers. No date on the title page. Copyright page dated only 1907. There is a color frontispiece and there are two additional color plates. The second of the plates, 'Halt! Who goes there?" is detached, set in place after page 52. A pencil notation on the front endpaper notes that there should be 4 plates. 60 pages. Black and white illustrations on every page (sometimes several of them). Pages a little faded from age, and we noted a smudged corner on one, while paging through looking for plates. A scarce title.
