The Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is the oldest diplomatic academy of the world, a unique multidisciplinary educational and scientific center, known all over the world. Every year the Academy welcomes dozens of foreign delegations; foreign ministers, politicians, public figures, leaders of international organizations, major military leaders, respected scientists, editors of leading media from more than 70 countries give lectures and make reports in its audiences. The Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an elite educational institution that has managed to fit into the new realities and requirements of the labor market and that adequately and efficiently trains modern personnel in the interests of Russia. Every year the number of foreigners desiring to study at the Diplomatic Academy is increasing. To date, representatives of about 30 countries of the world study at the Academy. Since 1994, the Academy has been entrusted with an important state mission - training of diplomats from the CIS countries and a number of other foreign states. Traditionally, the Diplomatic Academy is famous for its unique highly effective methodology of intensive teaching of foreign languages. Today, the Academy teaches more than 20 foreign languages.
