Color illustrated wraps perfect bound. Errata slip laid in. Spine creases, light scratches to covers. Title page inscriptions to US Senator Warren Magnuson in ink by Oberst and politician Jack [John] Sylvester, with Sylvester's notation to p. 6 family photo. In addition, a photocopy of a quote from Albert Einstein, laid in, is inscribed "To Warren from ['Monle'?] June 5, 1984" is laid in. Warren G. Magnuson was the US Senator from Washington State whose lengthy tenure (1944 -1981) resulted in the concentration of significant political power. "Maggie" was often derided as "the Senator from Boeing," given his ability to secure allocation of defense dollars for the aircraft manufacturer.
