Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Limited to 500 copies. 8vo. 381p. Brown heavy grained cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine. Illustrated with 55 black and white captioned photos and two tipped in frontispiece photos of Clara Nichols and William Nichols with tissue guard. Colophon reads as follows: "Five hundred copies of this edition have been printed from type composed by Bruce Brough San Francisco." Very minor wear to extremities, gilt dulled, some evidence of silverfish grazing on covers, frontispiece photos in fine condition, tissue guard intact, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. William Ford Nichols [1849-1924] was an Episcopal Priest who served parishes in Hartford, CT, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Honolulu, as well as at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. This book is obviously a book of his reminiscences.
