Offered is an original flyer entitled "If A Bomb Fell On New Jersey Today Would You Believe A War Was On?" published by the New Jersey Chapter of SANE: A Citizen's Organization for a Sane World out of Montclair, NJ, a single-page mimeographed handbill, as issued, measuring 8-1/2" by 11" and printed on one side. No year stated, although 1973. It reads, in short part, "THE BOMBING OF CAMBODIA CONTINUES" (with statistics, including 700 Cambodians killed weekly; 436 million pounds of bombs dropped on Cambodia) - "WE CAN STOP THE BOMBING BY AUGUST 15 - Congress has passed legislation requiring President Nixon to halt all bombing and other military activity in Cambodia and throughout Indochina by August 15 - it appears that the President will seek an extension of the bombing - CONGRESS MUST STAND FIRM ON THE AUGUST 15 DEADLINE - Phone, write or telegram your Congressman today" (after several days of extensive bombing in support of Lon Nol's forces fighting the Khmer Rouge, the bombing ended - against Nixon's wishes - on midnight of the evening of August 14).
