APRIL 24 [1971] - March on Washington [D.C.] and San Francisco" issued in 1971 by the National Peace Action Coalition out of Washington, D.C. A left-folded brochure measuring 3-3/4" by 8-1/2" and containing six panels (six narrow pages). With a large photograph from a recent protest and rally and a headline reading STOP THE WAR NOW!, the text reads in part, "Everyone is hurt by this war. GIs, working people, Black and Brown people, women and students. Young people are sent off to their deaths; war-induced inflation undermines our standard of living; the racist nature of the Army and the war places a specially heavy burden on national minorities; and the world is horrified by the destruction we are inflicting on a people halfway around the planet." Contains information for the antiwar movement on the upcoming anti-Vietnam war demonstrations to be held on October 26, 1972 ("picket lines to be organized at federal buildings") and November 18, 1972 ("locally organized street demonstrations"), both to demand a total, immediate, and unconditional withdrawal of all U.S. forces in Southeast Asia.

Pinback Button. Two 1.75 inch diameter pins, both with cartoons by Levine that were originally published in the NY Review of Books. One shows Nixon riding a bomber, with copyright date 1971 on the edge and NPAC#1, while the other depicts Nixon with Agnew, the latter's head an egg, copyright date 1968 on the edge and NPAC#3. Very good. These were issued for the large NPAC occupation of Washington DC in 1971.
