Hardcover. Condición: Poor. Covers are damp stained. Endpapers, first two leaves, and last few leaves are damp stained to the lower and outer margins. Folded facsimile letter has multiple tears, with loss to the text approx. 1/4" by 1 1/2", and with a detached but present panel. Private signed book plate on the front endpaper. Spine has a small split to the front upper corner. ; Approx. 5 1/2" wide by 8 1/4". From the title page: "The profits of this work, both in England and America, will be applied in aid of the London Printers' Pension Society". From the prefatory note: [I learned] "that the identical Printing Press at which Dr. Franklin had worked in London, in 1725-26 [as a Journeyman Pressman], was still in existence, and in the possession of Messrs. Harrild and Sons, ." ; 48 pages.
