Hardcover. Condición: Collectible; Fine. First Edition. This red cloth hardcover book is square and tight. The boards and spine have only a whisper of wear and with pristine lettering. The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. There is mild spotty foxing on the title page, but doesn't detract. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark. The cardboard protective sleeve with paper pastedown is present; in fair condition. The book has numerous black and white plates of various South Carolina architectural and natural highlights. This edition is limited to 1500 copies. There have been several later printings. The book is named after the Henry Timrod lines: Thank Him Who Place Us Here Beneath So Kind A Sky.
