Tissue paper protection for frontispieces and other plates. Other fine touches -- tipped-in goddess plate opposite certification page; gilt-decorated title page; marbled end-pages. Leather covers with tilt titles and embossed design on front. Cover have some wear at corners and spine tips, and a few volumes have some other general wear on spine covers -- but overall a classic production maintained in great condition. ; Parnassus Edition.
