The first years of his life were occupied with revival work in Britain and Cana da, when he spoke to vast multitudes daily and when one stirring and rapturous excitement followed hard upon another, as he had joy of seeing tens of thousands souls born anew. In the 2nd part of the book we have Robert Murray McCheyne. This amazi ng man who was always fragile and delicate in health, who wrote no book, and who preached rarely outside the confines of Scotland, has left an imprint upon his own land and upon the world which can never be forgotten. His brief ministry of 7 1/2 y rs. was filled with fragrance, charm, and power. At 23 years of age he was a spiritual giant and General in the Lord's ranks in Scotland.
