Cloth. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. First Edition Thus. Pristine first Wayside Press edition bound in black cloth backstrap over red cloth, with gilt title on spine. Dust jacket is very lightly rubbed at corners, head and foot of spine, with 1/4" tear at rear top forecorner, else fine. Jacket is protected in removable mylar. This first publication by the Wayside Press recounts the life of Michael Martin aka Captain Lightfoot, the last person to be hanged for highway robbery in Massachusetts. The biography was told by Martin to the journalist Waldo, while he awaited execution. 162 pages includes B&W illustrations.
