Hardcover. Condición: Fair. Oversized hardcover. Title page dated 1924. 223 pages. Patterned white and blue cloth over boards. Blue lettering. In fair condition. Binding is shaken. Corners and head & foot of spine are bumped. Covers are lightly soiled and toned. Some wear along edges and corners. Fore edges, head & foot of textblock, and pages are toned. Front and back gutters are cracked through. A previous owner's inscription written in pencil underneath dedication. Pages are clean--no stray markings throughout. B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Spine slightly browned. Ex-Libris plate to front free-endpaper. Joint at front free-endpaper and half title-page is cracked showing webbing. Half title-page is MISSING. Hinges are cracked and pulled, some showing stitching at spine. This is causing the contents to be a bit loose in the binding but the contents are still tight. There is some colouring to the b/w illustrations and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Also, some foxing. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!.
