Condición: Good. 1948. 392 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Inscription to front pastedown. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Mild cracking to front hinge, however binding remains firm. Mild thumb-marking present. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Notable annotations and marginalia to pages throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Notable tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean.
