Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo. A handsome 1952 volume on the philosophies and opinions of General Douglas MAcArthur, with a letter laid in signed by MacArthur. The letter is presumably from a young boy, beginning an autograph collection, writing to MacArthur asking for his signature. MacArthur was obliging, signing the letter in black ink underneath the letter writer's own signature and apparently including a photograph of himself, also laid in to the book. 96pp + 24pp of black and white photographs at rear. Blue cloth. Square tight binding. Clean interior. Presentation gift plate to lower half-title page. Dust jacket with mild wear, including a lightly-sunned spine. Presents handsomely in archival mylar. A handsome edition and unique MacArthur collectible.
