Foreword written by Viscount Cunningham of Hyndhope. Slight crinkling to gutters however binding remains firm. Pages and plates remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing and fraying to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Slight sunning to spine and edges. Book has a slight forward lean.

Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Other than that, binding is tight and the interior appears to be clean except for a tape mark from removed tape on ffep.192pp.
