Hardcover. Condición: Good. No Jacket. Vol. 2 ONLY from the 4-volume set. An English-language translation from the 2nd Russian edition. A Good- 8vo hardcover in NO dj (if issued.) Marbled greenish paper boards with stamped gilt cover lettering quarter bound in brown cloth with dulled gilt spine lettering. Boards have rubbed and exposed corners, a front scuff, and additional rubbing on the edges. Light wear in the spine head and tail edges. Starter with a partial seam split in the very tender front hinge. In a related vein, both the colored ffep and the title page are somewhat shaken. Prior owner info and the date Feb., 1924 on the ffep. Light blue end papers. Age tanned 392-page contents, and through a manufacturing error, the leaf with pages 123-124 is vertically split in half with both sides being bound. The contents are, however, otherwise clean and securely bound and fully legible. NOT an ex-library copy!.
