Etchings are reproduced in black on white. White cloth spine and sides with a black leather title label with gilt titling, and white textured paper over boards, top-edge gilt. Bookplate on the front paste-down: Margaret Collins. The leather title label shows slight wear, light wear to cover corners. A few of the dancers, who were subjects of these etchings: Lopokova, Nijinsky, Adeline Genee, Pavlova, Adolf Bolm, Doris Niles. Signed by Illustrator(s).

Includes Troy Kinney by Royal Cortissoz; The Pencil and the Dance by Troy Kinney; A Catalogue Raisonne of the Etchings and Drypoints of Troy Kinney, by Margaret West Kinney. Ernest D. Roth's copy with an additional signed presentation by Kinney: "To my beloved friend Ernest Roth / Deep appreciation of many good and helpful things he has done for me; and every good wish./ With happy memories of hours with him, and profound honor to his art. / Faithfully/ Troy Kinney."
