Hardcover. Condición: Poor. No Jacket. 408 pages; 8 sections; preface in front of book. Pages tight; string binding; no markings on pages; page margins and page edges darkened; some foxing; stains appear on portions of page edges. Title page and first page of the Preface are taped at the inner spine crease and glued together on portions of left margins. Some blotches, soiled areas, and discoloration areas on front and back end pages, title page, preface; and Contents pages. Inner spine crease weakened and split but pages intact. Yellow faded hard covers with lettering and ornate designs on front cover and spine. Covers and spine show rubbing; several discoloration areas; soiling, and darkened areas.Back cover reveals evidence of previous moisture exposure. Corners bumped with frayed areas on the cover edges, spine ends and corners. Contents headings include: Health Hints; Foods; Tests for Adulterations; Temperance; Simple Remedies for Common Diseases; Hyseopathic Appliances; Accidents and Emergencies; Medical Frauds. Book provides a plain and practical manner with the recognition and remendies of health concerns. VERY RARE VITAGE COPY-poor condition but readable.
