Paperback. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. Wraps. Tall 12mo. pp [8]. 7.5cm by 14cm. Folded pamphlet. Leporello pamphlet with the full text of a pro-cannabis pro free love, totally anarchist speech that could not be uttered completely in the English House of Lords due to disturbance. Most of the speech was not recorded by Hansard (unique). Illustrated with a cartoon by Ralph Steadman. From the archive of Dutch author and psychedelics expert Simon Vinkenoog (1928-2009) who had his birthday on that same day, the 18th of July but with no sign of this. The Welsh illustrator Ralph Steadman (1936-) is best known for his collaboration and friendship with the American writer Hunter S. Thompson and the bookcover design and illustrations for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1971). Slight creasing otherwise very good. Decent copy.

Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. Single sheet printed on one side only in eight panels, folded concertina style and affixed to card covers, 24mo. 'His speech is technically described in parliamentary language as a "response to an unstarred question during a debate on Victims of Crime." Two or three items in it were picked on by the Press and published out of context. The full text was not printed by Hansard, the Parliamentary Reporters. After being interrupted by Lord Wells-Pestell (who according to one observer only speaks about the nationalisation of model railways), Lord Russell left the Chamber and was prevented from re-entering by the Ushers.' Some inevitable separation at the join but secure, a few unobtrusive spots and marks, the spine tail gently bumped, but Very Good.
