Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. London. JM Dent and Sons Limited. 1962. 42nd impression. Hard Cover. It was first published in 1900, eleven years after 'Three Men in a Boat'. Pott 8vo 6¼ " x4 [15.8cm x 10cm] approx. 192 pp. Red cloth publisher's boards with gilt titles to the spine. A little softening at the spine ends. Corners sharp. Odd mark to the cloth. Frontispiece by the illustrator L. Raven-Hill. There is an unobtrusive library stamp on the copyright page but there are no other indications this was a library copy and it is being listed due to the charm of the dust wrapper. Clipped but showing 9/6 on publisher sticker to front flap. The spine ends have some wear. The rear wrap with publisher ads is grubby. The front wrap is illustrated in green, pink and dark green. There is minor edge wear along the top of the front flap. Condition is very good minus. The book is very good. This sequel brings back the three companions who figured in Three Men in a Boat, this time on a bicycle tour through the German Black Forest. A 'Bummel' can be described as a journey, long or short, without an end; the only thing regulating it being the necessity of getting back within a given time to the point from which one started. The dust jacket will be protected with a new inert archival sleeve which is removable. Please contact us if you would like any more information or additional photographs. Postage price quoted outside the UK is for a book up to 1kg using UPS. For books sent within the UK, there will be no extra charge for books up to 2kg using Royal Mail Tracked. Postage quoted in the UK is the actual cost (£3.45). All books are sent in protective packing and custom book box. If your book is intended as a gift, please let us know and we will gift wrap it free of charge with a card and any message.
