The section on WWII includes histories of: The 51st Anti-Tank Battery; The 2nd Field Battery; The 1st Light Anti-Aircraft Battery; The 25th Light Anti-Aircraft Battery; and, The 30th Field Regiment. A very good copy with light edge wear to the boards.

Approx 8 x 5 ins. In Illustrated light blue cloth, hardback bevelled edge boards, Gilt lettering and design to spine and front. All edges gilt. In very good condition. Edges and corners rubbed, corners and ends of spine nicked. Rear Inner hinges a little cracked. Neat inscription to reverse of frontis. Faint crease on corner of frontis. Some mild foxing to title pg with some minor marks to pages & a little on fore edge, else pages clean throughout. Illustrated with 5 plates. 454 pp; Cat.2 pp; Henty?s story DOES NOT APPEAR ANYWHERE ELSE. Contains also a story by G.MANVILLE FENN: Home for the Holidays./ EDGAR ALLEN POE : The Premature Burial / etc.;

Leather_bound. Condición: Fair. 218p. 3/4 red leather binding with marbled endpapers. Edges, corners, and hinges worn; leather scuffed at foot of spine and crackling at corners. Book should be handled with care. Ex-library; with signature of Leslie Henri Kuehner and the bookplate of his Napoleonic library of Memphis, Tennessee. Small scuffs on rear endpaper where library card or label may have been removed. Mild foxing to edges and margins, otherwise clean and tight. Good condition overall.
