Illustrated endpapers showing a art nouveau design. Green coloured cloth covered boards with a self embossed publisher's logo to the front panel and gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. A dramatic poem, which can be produced as a play. Everyman's Library number 716. Softening of the back strip edges with a little bumping of the book corners and rubbing of the lower book edges. Some foxing to the lower edge of the front panel and quite noticeable moisture damage to the lower edge of the rear panel  please see photograph. Uniform tanning of the text block edges and pages with very noticeable offset tanning and foxing to the rear and pages. A previous owner has noted that death of the playwright on the half title page and has made the occasional pencil mark in the text. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
