Condición: Good. 1st edition. Cloth, G. xxiv+326pp, b/w frontis, attractive bevelled edge binding with deep blind stamped patterning, front hinge weak, head of spine frayed, cloth rubbed, Ex Library with library numbers to the spine & occasional stamps inside, old library ticket [ with return dates of 1909 ], a good copy. Collected poetical works of Kirke White [1785 - 1806 ] who was able, although unwell to attend Cambridge thanks to the generosity of friends. The strain of work was too much & he died a year after entering St John College. His career was helped by Southey who thought him an able poet. Grahame [1765 - 1811] Scottish poet, whos verse have a philanthropic vein & carry description sof the Scotish landscape. 700 grams.
