Edge wear, rubbing marks to boards, discoloration to the coloth and the title is just about invisible. The spine piece is split along the back edge revealing the underlying structure. Internally te hinge and text block are in tact but fragile, there is a very small previous owner stamp to the front end paper (Kenneth Coutts-Smith). The pages are smooth and clean with rough cut page edges. Coloured frontispiece and 4 further black and white illustration plates.
